Maicelia is rooted in Tea Tree Comedy, a company that has been working in comedy and improvisation since 2014. The name Maicelia comes from the mycelium network, a symbol of connection, growth, and shared support, and represents the beginning of a journey into improvisation, creativity, and stage work.
Maicelia provides improvisation rehearsals and improv workshops for individuals, companies, and communities. We offer long-term rehearsal programs for deeper improv experience, as well as workshops focused on stage presence, creativity, storytelling, character work, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Improv workshops and rehearsals are a fun and effective way to unleash creativity, open up communication, and help people work better together.
Our work supports people who want to feel more confident presenting and speaking in front of others, focusing on content rather than fear.
